Liz Hodder Studio

Even as a child in Richmond, Virginia, Liz Hodder always created art. "Leonardo DaVinci was my rock star when I was growing up" she remembers. She studied human ecology, social work and philosophy, collaborating with nonprofits and organizations including cancer support communities. An opportunity to study the Maker Movement in California in association with Harvard University led her to revive to her own fine art practice and found it informed her other work in unanticipated, positive ways. Hodder refined her practice with a focus on connection—visually, thematically, and socially.
